4 year old Mizoram girl’s rendition of “Maa Tujhe Salaam” has found a fan in PM Narendra Modi

Esther Hnamte, a four year old girl from Mizoram has sung her own version of AR Rahman’s soul touching song “Maa Tujhe Salaam” and it’s getting a lot of love from netizens.

The video was first uploaded to Youtube and even our Prime Minister couldn’t help but notice it.

Shri Narendra Modi was full of praise for the little girl for the beautiful rendition of the patriotic song:

People have also tagged the original composer, Oscar winning music AR Rahman to bring this soulful rendition to his notice.

The video has been gaining a lot of attention on Youtube with people in awe of the little girl’s talent.

The music video also features Esther, who is seen holding the national flag of India amidst the scenic beauty of Mizoram as the backdrop.

It wasn’t long before Rahman himself acknowledged the video and tweeted about it:

Interestingly, Esther only speaks Mizo, the local language of Mizoram and doesn’t know Hindi or English at all, according to a source close to the family.

It shows music needs no training as the little girl managed to create such an sweet cover for the song.

We wish Esther all the best for her future endeavours and may she continue to bring accolades for Northeast India with her soulful singing.
